
Beyerskloof Diesel Pinotage 2007
A full bodied, well structured Pinotage with a deep red colour. An abundance of flavours on the nose and palette, from dark chocolate flavours from the new oak to blackberry and cassis flavours from the grape. Well integrated tannins provides this wine with an elegant and soft mouthfeel, a true classic. A perfect example of fruit balance with a gentle middle and delightful finish. Perfection in this bottle will be reached in 15 - 20 years.

January was hot with some rainfalls whilst February was cooler with moderate rainfalls. March and April hosted very hot conditions with little rain. | |

| Vinification | 4 days in open fermenters where the cap was punched by hand. Fermentation temperature was between 26 - 28°C. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel the wine is matured in 100% first French oak barrels for 23 months. |
